Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In plain terms, and shorter than most policies because we collect very little.

What this policy covers
This policy explains how Ana Laboratories Pvt Ltd handles information in connection with this website. It covers the details you send us through the enquiry form on our contact page, and anything you share when you call, email or message us using the links on this site.
Information you give us as part of a commissioned testing engagement — sample details, batch records, specifications and the reports we issue — is handled under the terms of that engagement and any confidentiality agreement signed with you. Where those terms and this policy differ, the signed agreement governs.
Information we collect
We only collect what you type into the enquiry form and send to us. That is:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The type of work you are enquiring about
- The message you write describing your requirement
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors. There is no account to create and no newsletter sign-up.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies of its ownand does not store anything in your browser's local or session storage. That is why you see no cookie consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to.
The embedded Google Map on our contact page is served by Google and may set its own cookies when it loads, as may your browser's own handling of third-party embeds. That behaviour is controlled by Google, not by us. If you would rather avoid it, our address is written out in text beside the map and in the footer of every page, so the map is never the only way to find us.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- Prepare and send a quotation for the testing work you have described
- Contact you about that enquiry by phone, email or WhatsApp, using the details you provided
- Keep a record of the enquiry and our correspondence for our own business and compliance purposes
We do not sell your information, rent it out, or use it to send you marketing you did not ask for.
Third parties involved
We keep the number of outside services small, and these are all of them:
- FormSubmit — delivers the enquiry form to our inbox. What you type into the form passes through their service on its way to us. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy terms at formsubmit.co.
- Google Maps — the embedded map showing our location on the contact page.
- Cloudflare (cdnjs) — serves the icon font this site uses. Loading it means your browser requests a file from their servers, which involves your IP address as any web request does.
- WhatsApp— only if you tap the WhatsApp button. That opens a chat in WhatsApp, and the conversation from that point is subject to WhatsApp's own terms.
Beyond these, we may share information where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a regulator with authority over our work.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for the purpose you sent them — answering your question, quoting for the work, and any engagement that follows — and after that for as long as we need them to meet our record-keeping, accreditation and legal obligations. When an enquiry no longer serves either purpose, we dispose of it.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to the people who need it to do their work. This site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us on that understanding. Please do not use the enquiry form to send passwords, financial details or anything you consider highly sensitive — call us instead.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address below and tell us what you need. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we may have to keep some records where the law requires it.
You are never obliged to fill in the enquiry form. Our phone number and email address are on every page if you would prefer to reach us directly.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and professional clients, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top, so the date shown is always the version in force. Significant changes will be made clear rather than slipped in quietly.
Questions about this policy?
Write to us and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. Please mention the policy by name so your message reaches the right person.
